Hector Beige

Hector FabricF4697-03

Hector Beige is a quietly textured linen with a soft beige-cream ground and a fine herringbone stripe running vertically through the cloth. The effect is restrained and elegant, with just enough surface movement to catch the light.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this Hector colourway has a dry, natural handle and a tailored, small-scale pattern that reads more like texture than motif. The vertical 2cm approximate repeat gives the cloth a subtle striped rhythm, while the pale beige tone is warmed by gentle cream notes rather than looking stark or cool. At approximately 139cm wide, it is a practical width for both upholstery and drapery projects where a calm, understated finish is wanted. The overall look is crisp but relaxed, with the fine herringbone detail becoming visible as the light moves across the weave.

How to use it

Use Hector Beige on tailored upholstery, café curtains, or roman blinds where you want a soft neutral with a little woven character. It pairs especially well with oak, chalk white, stone, and muted brass accents.

A quiet neutral with a refined woven texture that layers easily into classic or contemporary schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
