About this fabric

This Hector fabric by Colefax and Fowler is woven in 55% linen and 45% cotton, with an approximate width of 146cm and a small repeat of V 0cm / H 0.5cm. The narrow stripe is tightly regular, giving the surface a neat, disciplined rhythm rather than a bold decorative statement. In this colourway, the blue is soft and sea-washed, tempered by a light neutral ground so the overall impression stays fresh and airy. The linen-cotton blend gives the cloth a slightly dry, natural handle and a clean visual texture that suits both upholstery and curtains.

How to use it

Use this sea-blue stripe on relaxed chairs, bench cushions or smart blinds where a crisp tailored look is wanted. It pairs especially well with chalk white, pale oak and soft grey finishes.

A crisp narrow stripe that brings a fresh, tailored lift to classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
