Hector Blue

Hector FabricF4697-14

Hector Blue shows a calm, denim-like blue with a fine woven chevron texture running across the cloth. The small-scale pattern gives it a tailored look without feeling stiff.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Hector Blue has a dry, natural handle that reads clearly in the close chevron-like surface. The colour sits in a muted mid-blue range, with lighter and darker yarns giving the fabric a gently striated, almost washed finish. Its repeat is V 0cm / H 2cm approx, so the pattern settles into a tight, orderly rhythm rather than a bold stripe. At 139cm approx wide and with a BM fire code, it is a practical textile for considered interior schemes where texture matters as much as colour.

How to use it

Use Hector Blue on relaxed upholstery, cushions or simple curtains where the soft blue tone can bring freshness without brightness. It works especially well with pale oak, chalk white and other natural linens.

A quietly tailored blue with a crisp herringbone-like texture that suits classic interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hector Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
