About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted blue with grey and pale silver notes, so the pattern stays present without looking busy. The fabric is woven in a compact repeating grid, with the small 4cm vertical and horizontal repeat creating a precise, rhythmic surface. At 136cm wide and composed of 59% viscose, 24% cotton, 11% linen and 6% acrylic, it has the feel of a versatile decorative cloth rather than a plain flat weave. The mix of fibres gives the surface a slightly dry, softly tactile character, while the cool shade keeps the overall effect clean and composed. Fire code √CM is also noted, making it suitable for considered interior schemes.

How to use it

Use Farina Blue on a smart occasional chair, cushions, or Roman blinds where its cool blue-grey tone can sit comfortably with pale oak, chalk white or deeper navy. The small-scale geometry works especially well in rooms that need texture without strong contrast.

A cool blue-grey weave that works neatly on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
