About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 48% cotton, 19% viscose, 16% linen, 10% wool, 4% polyamide and 3% polyester, Hamlin Blue has a grounded natural handle with enough body for versatile interior use. The stripe pattern is small in scale, with approx. 6cm vertical repeat and 18cm horizontal repeat, creating delicate linear bands rather than a bold statement stripe. In this colourway the blue reads muted and misty, softened by grey and pale neutral yarns so the surface feels calm rather than bright. The 141cm approx. width and √CM fire rating make it a practical decorative textile for considered schemes.

How to use it

Use Hamlin Blue where you want a cool, composed stripe that sits comfortably with chalky paintwork, limed woods and pale oak. It is especially effective on upholstered seating or relaxed curtains in rooms that need colour without heaviness.

A restrained blue-grey stripe that works well on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
