About this fabric

Woven in a 45% Linen, 18% Wool, 17% Cotton, 12% Viscose, 8% Polyamide composition, Durant Slate has the tactile, softly mottled look of a natural blend with just enough body for furnishing use. The cloth is 147cm wide approximately, with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm, so the effect is a clean, non-patterned surface rather than a visible motif. Its slate-grey ground is warmed by brown and mushroom undertones, which stop it from feeling stark and help the texture read clearly in the light. The finish sits between tailored and relaxed, making it a useful option where a restrained but characterful neutral is needed.

How to use it

Use Durant Slate on a sofa, banquette or curtains where you want a grounded neutral with more warmth than a blue-grey. It pairs well with oak, aged brass and charcoal, and the muted tone will sit comfortably alongside both pale linens and deeper jewel accents.

A quiet, versatile grey that layers easily with timber, leather and deep accent colours.
