About this fabric

Woven in a 48% cotton, 19% viscose, 16% linen, 10% wool, 4% polyamide and 3% polyester composition, this fabric has the grounded handle of a mid-weight textile rather than a sheer or a heavy upholstery cloth. The stripe repeat is approximately V 6cm / H 18cm on a width of about 141cm, giving the pattern a neat, tightly banded rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the pink is softened by earthy sienna and beige notes, so the overall effect feels dusty and gently sun-warmed rather than bright or sugary. The textured weave and mixed fibre content give the surface a subtle melange that keeps the stripes from reading flat.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored chair, window seat or small curtains where the muted pink-sienna palette can bring warmth without dominating the room. It pairs especially well with natural wood, chalky neutrals and aged metal finishes.

A warm, quietly striped weave that works beautifully with limed oak, plaster pinks and muted bronze accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hamlin Pink/Sienna without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
