About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Foss Red Earth has a dry, lightly slubby texture that reads clearly in the close weave and gives the surface a gentle, tactile grain. The colour sits between blush pink and muted terracotta, with a warm, earthy cast rather than a bright or sugary tone. With no repeat and an approximate width of 138cm, it is an especially versatile plain for tailored upholstery, loose covers or softly structured curtains. The overall effect is relaxed and organic, with enough depth in the shade to add warmth without feeling heavy. The fabric also carries care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM.

How to use it

Use this shade to warm pale oak, chalky plaster and tan leather, where its dusty red tone will feel grounded rather than decorative. It is especially effective on simple upholstery forms or relaxed drapery where the subtle linen texture can do the talking.
