Furley Pink/Green

Hailsham FabricF4870-04

Furley Pink/Green shows a graceful damask of scrolling foliage and floral motifs on a pale ground, with the pink accents giving the design a soft, airy warmth. The green outline and stemwork keep the pattern crisp without overpowering the linen base.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the relaxed handle and lightly textural surface you would expect from a natural cloth, while the design itself reads as a formal damask with a gentle, worn-in elegance. The repeat is approximately V 65cm / H 45cm, so the scrolling arabesques and floral medallions have room to breathe across the width of 134cm approx. In this colourway, the pink sits in a muted blush-coral range rather than a bright rose, and the green is a soft sage tone that cools the overall effect. It is catalogued with care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM.

How to use it

Use it for statement curtains, an occasional chair, or a decorative upholstered headboard where the soft pink and green can lift a neutral room. It would sit especially well with ivory paintwork, pale oak and aged brass.

Pair with quiet linens and pale woods to keep the blush pattern feeling fresh rather than ornate.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
