Durlston Red/Green
Hailsham FabricF4869-01
Durlston Red/Green has a softly aged, painterly look, with leafy stems and floral forms set against a light ground. The red accents feel muted rather than bright, so the design reads elegant and relaxed rather than bold.

About this fabric
This Hailsham fabric is 100% linen, with an approximate 134cm width and a large repeat of V 87cm / H 67cm, so the pattern has room to unfold clearly across curtains or larger upholstered pieces. In this colourway, the foliage is worked in sage and soft olive tones, while the flowers and trailing details are washed through with dusty red, pink and touches of gold on an ivory ground. The result is a traditional botanical that feels lighter and less saturated than a stronger crimson version, with the linen weave adding a natural, slightly dry texture to the surface. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use it for full-length curtains, a tailored Roman blind or occasional upholstery where its soft red and green palette can add warmth without overpowering the room. It sits particularly well with painted woodwork, aged brass and quiet neutrals.
A painterly botanical that brings gentle period character to formal curtains or a feature blind.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Durlston Red/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
