Alloway Red/Green

Hailsham FabricF4872-02

Alloway Red/Green shows a painterly floral trail on a warm ivory ground, with rose-red blossoms and soft sage foliage. The overall effect is airy and country-house elegant, rather than bold or saturated.

About this fabric

This 100% linen fabric is 135cm wide approximately, with a large repeat of V 86cm / H 135cm approx, which suits the generous scale of the trailing flower stems shown here. The colourway pairs muted red and blush blooms with greyed green leaves, so the design reads fresher and lighter than a deeper crimson version. The linen surface gives the print a softly natural look, letting the petals and stems sit gently on the pale ground. With no performance features noted and a fire code of √BM, it is a decorative furnishing fabric with a relaxed, traditional character.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a light floral statement without heavy contrast: curtains, roman blinds, or a skirted armchair all work well. Its soft red and sage palette sits neatly with painted woods, aged brass, and pale neutral upholstery.

Pretty rose-pink blooms and sage stems give this linen a fresh, classic wall-to-window feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
