About this fabric
Woven in 55% linen and 45% cotton, this fabric has the natural, slightly dry handle associated with a linen-rich cloth, while the cotton keeps the surface neat and even. The repeat is a very small 0.5cm horizontal repeat with no vertical repeat, which reinforces the orderly, pinstripe look seen in the image. At approximately 146cm wide, it is a practical cloth for coordinating fitted upholstery or elegant curtains where a subtle stripe is wanted. The tomato tone is softened into a pinky coral rather than a bright red, so it feels fresher and gentler in daylight.
How to use it
Use it on a compact armchair, bench or café-style curtains where the fine stripe can add structure without overwhelming the room. It pairs well with chalky whites, warm neutrals and painted wood in pale stone or muted terracotta.
