About this fabric

This fabric is a woven stripe with a clearly defined repeating pattern, shown here as alternating coral-red and pale natural bands with fine linear detailing between them. The surface reads as a textured mid-weight cloth rather than a flat print, with the yarn mix of 42% viscose, 32% cotton, 17% polyester, 7% linen and 2% acrylic adding softness and structure. The repeat is V 33cm / H 9cm approx, and the 139cm approx width makes it practical for larger upholstery pieces as well as structured window treatments. Its overall tone is warm, dusty and slightly weathered, so the red feels inviting rather than bright.

How to use it

Use Carey Red on an armchair, ottoman or cushions where the coral stripe can add warmth without overpowering the room. It sits especially well against limestone, oat and putty tones, or alongside dark timber for a more traditional scheme.

Pairs easily with sandy neutrals for a lively but tailored finish.
