Lindley Red

Hailsham FabricF4871-01

Lindley Red shows a classical damask pattern softened into a pale rose-red on a warm ivory ground. The design feels airy rather than bold, with the motif reading clearly but quietly across the linen.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and measuring approximately 132cm wide, this Hailsham colourway has a crisp natural handle that suits both soft furnishings and lighter upholstery use. The repeat is approximately V 53cm / H 44cm, giving the damask a generous, formal rhythm without making the pattern feel cramped. In Lindley Red, the scrolling motif settles into a muted blush-red tone with a slightly chalky finish, so the pattern has depth but stays restrained. The pale ground keeps the fabric bright and balanced, while the rose-red detailing adds warmth and a traditional decorative character. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for reference.

How to use it

Use Lindley Red on a formal armchair, pelmet, or full-length curtains where the soft red reads against stone, cream, or pale wood. It works especially well in rooms that need pattern with a gentle, lived-in warmth rather than strong colour contrast.

A gentle rose-red damask that brings warmth without feeling heavy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lindley Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
