Livingstone Forest
Hailsham FabricF4868-02
Livingstone Forest in Forest shows a finely stippled, all-over pattern in a softened sage green over a pale ground. The effect is quiet and detailed, with the motif reading as a small-scale textured scatter rather than a bold contrast.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the light, natural character you expect from the fibre, while the printed design keeps the surface visually busy without feeling heavy. The repeat is approximately V 24cm / H 67cm, creating a gently drifting rhythm that softens the small motif across the cloth. In this Forest colourway, the green is muted and leafy rather than bright, sitting against a warm pale background that gives the design an airy, slightly weathered look. At 134cm wide, it offers a practical width for curtains, cushions, and lighter upholstery schemes, and the supplied care and fire references are Q 8 + T 3 and √BM.
How to use it
Use it where you want pattern without strong contrast: it works especially well with painted wood, soft neutrals, and aged brass. The sage tone feels calm in daylight and brings a restrained country-house note to blinds, cushions, or occasional seating.
A gentle sage ground keeps the small-scale pattern calm and easy to layer.

Pairs well with
Livingstone Forest is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
