Davey Forest

Hamlin FabricF4738-09

Davey Forest is a quietly grounded green with a soft, woven depth that reads calm rather than bright. The close plain surface gives it a pared-back, tailored look.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted forest green with cool, smoky undertones and a subtle linen-cotton texture visible across the cloth. Woven in 58% linen and 42% cotton, it has the natural character of linen but a slightly smoother, more settled finish. The repeat is listed as vertical 0cm and horizontal 0cm approx, confirming the plain appearance seen here. With a width of 146cm approx and care code Q 8 + T 3, it is a practical decorative textile suited to both furnishing and window use. The √BM fire code is also supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Davey Forest on a clean-lined chair or bench to bring in a deep, herbal note without overpowering a room. It pairs especially well with oak, aged brass and warm neutrals, where the green can sit as a calm anchor.

A quietly tailored green that works beautifully on upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
