Davey Sky Blue

Hamlin FabricF4738-06

Davey Sky Blue is a quietly airy colourway with a gentle pale-blue cast and a subtle woven texture visible across the surface. The finish reads fresh rather than bright, with the linen-rich cloth giving it a natural, lightly speckled depth.

About this fabric

Woven in 58% linen and 42% cotton, this Hamlin fabric has a relaxed handle and a dry, tactile finish that suits soft furnishing projects. The image shows a very even plain weave with no repeat, so the interest comes from the texture and the way the blue sits as a muted sky tone rather than from pattern. At approximately 146cm wide, it is a practical cloth for curtains, cushions and lighter upholstery where a calm, understated colour is wanted. The overall effect is cool and powdery, with just enough tonal variation in the weave to keep the surface from looking flat. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for specification reference.

How to use it

Use this soft sky blue with chalk white, pale oak and washed linen for a fresh, coastal feel. It also layers well with deeper navy or slate accents when you want the room to stay quiet but not washed out.

A calm pale blue with a linen-rich texture that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
