Davey Old Pink

Hamlin FabricF4738-04

Davey Old Pink is a quietly faded pink with a soft, chalky finish and a subtle linen-cotton texture visible across the surface. Its even, plain appearance gives it an easy, tailored feel rather than a decorative one.

About this fabric

Woven in 58% linen and 42% cotton, this plain fabric has a dry, natural handle that reads as calm and refined in the swatch. The colour is a muted old pink, lifted by warm beige undertones so it feels gentle rather than sugary. With no repeat and an approximate width of 146cm, it is an uncomplicated choice for full coverage on furniture, blinds or curtains. The fine weave shows a softly mottled, textile-rich surface that will sit comfortably in both classic and contemporary interiors.

How to use it

Use this old pink with putty, stone or faded oak for a soft, layered scheme, or pair it with darker timber for a more tailored look. Its restrained tone also works well on upholstered chairs and roman blinds where a gentle colour lift is wanted without strong contrast.

A soft, understated pink that works neatly across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
