About this fabric

Woven in a 60% linen, 30% cotton and 10% polyamide blend, this Hailsham fabric has the look of a tailored decorative textile with a dry, natural hand. The repeat is substantial at approximately V 45cm by H 71cm, which suits the generous scale of the floral motif seen here. In this colourway the petals read as a mellow primrose yellow, softened by cool grey foliage and tiny blue-blue accents that stop the pattern from feeling too sweet. The overall effect is fresh but understated, with the ivory ground keeping the contrast light and elegant. At approximately 142cm wide, it offers practical versatility for made-up furnishings and drapes.

How to use it

Use Rosalie Yellow/Blue in a room that needs warmth without heaviness: it works beautifully with painted whites, pale oak and brushed brass. The soft yellow note brings sunlight to north-facing spaces, while the grey-blue detailing keeps it calm enough for layered classic schemes.

A gentle primrose floral that brings a light, elegant lift to classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
