Summerby Silk Blue/Yellow
Jardine FabricF3706-03
This swatch reads as a sunny butter yellow ground scattered with airy blossom trails and slender vine stems. The pale blue-white flowers and fresh green leaves lift the design, giving it a bright, garden-room feel.

About this fabric
Summerby Silk Blue/Yellow from the Jardine collection by Colefax and Fowler is woven in 55% silk and 45% viscose, with an approximate width of 139cm and a large repeat of V 76cm / H 139cm. The fabric has a smooth, lightly lustrous surface that suits the flowing, decorative nature of the print. In this colourway, the ground is a warm lemon-butter yellow rather than a sharp primary yellow, so the pattern feels soft and sunny rather than loud. The delicate blue-tinted blossom and olive-green foliage sit clearly against the background, making the design feel fresh, light and refined.
How to use it
Use this colourway where you want a lifted, optimistic note: curtains in a pale room, or feature drapes alongside painted cream joinery. It works especially well with warm whites, faded sage accents and natural timber.
Pair it with pale linens and warm woods to let the blossom print stay fresh and luminous.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Summerby Silk Blue/Yellow without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
