Mereworth Tomato/Olive

Jardine FabricF4601-05

Mereworth Tomato/Olive is a softly painted floral on a pale ground, with leafy olive stems and scattered blooms in muted tomato pink, blush and blue. The overall effect is airy and garden-like rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the dry, natural handle and slightly relaxed look that suits window treatments especially well. The design repeats at approximately V 63cm / H 69cm, creating a generous trailing floral with branches, leaves and blossom clusters across the width of the cloth. In this colourway the palette feels sun-faded and botanical: olive greens lead the pattern, while tomato pink flowers and touches of powder blue add gentle lift against the cream ground. The 138cm approximate width gives useful coverage for curtains or light decorative use, and the BM fire rating is noted.

How to use it

Pair it with aged timber, painted cream finishes and woven accessories to emphasise the soft olive and blush tones. It works beautifully in rooms that want a fresh country feel without becoming too bright or crisp.

Use for curtains or decorative blinds where its painterly leaves and blooms can soften a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mereworth Tomato/Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
