Oleander Old Blue

Jardine FabricF4707-03

Oleander Old Blue sets the Jardine pattern against a softened blue ground that feels airy rather than vivid. The bamboo-like stems and trailing blossoms read in pale cream, blush and rose, giving the design a calm, classical rhythm.

About this fabric

This colourway is printed on 100% linen, with a width of approximately 140cm and a large repeat of V 97cm half drop by H 56cm approx, so the pattern has room to breathe across larger drops. The base is a muted, powdery blue with a chalky finish that keeps the print gentle rather than bright. Creamy stems and pale leaf work sit over the surface, while the small blossom clusters bring in restrained pinks from blush to deeper rose. The overall effect is light, elegant and slightly faded in mood, with enough detail to feel decorative without becoming busy.

How to use it

Use this old blue in rooms that already have timber, painted joinery or pale upholstery, where its cool ground can soften stronger finishes. It would work especially well for curtains or relaxed seating in a scheme that mixes stone, ivory and faded rose accents.

A refined linen print with a cool blue ground and delicate pink florals that suit layered, elegant interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Oleander Old Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
