Limbury Blue

Jardine FabricF4704-02

Limbury Blue shows a graceful trailing floral pattern in pale blue-grey on a light, creamy ground. The print has a refined, slightly painterly look that feels airy rather than bold.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in 56% silk and 44% cotton, with a width of approximately 130cm and a large repeat of V 57cm / H 130cm approx, giving the design room to open out across drapes or upholstery panels. In this colourway, the motif reads as a soft powder blue with cooler grey undertones, so the foliage and blossom details feel crisp without becoming harsh. The light ground lets the design breathe, while the silk content adds a gentle lustre that catches the light subtly across the surface. It is a smart, decorative textile with enough presence for statement curtains, blinds or occasional upholstery where a fluid, elegant pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Pair Limbury Blue with chalky whites, pale oak and muted silver finishes to keep the palette fresh and tailored. It works especially well in rooms that need a calm blue accent without the heaviness of a saturated navy.

Use for elegant curtains or tailored cushions where the pale blue motif can read softly against the silk-cotton ground.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Limbury Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
