Limbury Tomato

Jardine FabricF4704-01

Limbury Tomato brings the Jardine pattern to life in a lively tomato red over a soft cream ground. The large floral and foliate motif reads crisp and decorative, with a lightly lustrous surface that catches the light gently.

About this fabric

This colourway of Jardine is woven in 56% Silk and 44% Cotton, giving the fabric a refined handle and a subtle sheen that lifts the red pattern against the pale ground. The design is shown at approximately 130cm wide with a vertical repeat of 57cm and a horizontal repeat of 130cm, so the scrolling leaves and clustered flowers make a confident, full-scale statement. In Limbury Tomato, the red sits in a warm, slightly pinked tomato tone rather than a blue-based crimson, which keeps the overall effect bright and fresh. The visible texture feels smooth and tailored rather than heavy, making it suitable for soft furnishings as well as decorative upholstery where the pattern can be properly displayed.

How to use it

Use it on a loose armchair, a window seat cushion, or full-length curtains where the cream ground can temper the red motif. It works especially well with aged brass, cane, and warm timber, which echo the fabric’s relaxed but polished feel.

Pairs beautifully with walnut wood and chalky neutrals for a fresh classic scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Limbury Tomato without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
