About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and measuring approximately 140cm wide, this fabric has the crisp, natural character you’d expect from a linen cloth. The repeat is approximately V 15cm and H 14cm, which gives the small floral pattern a neat, regular rhythm across the surface. In this colourway, the yellow is gentle rather than bold: a sunlit, powdery shade with a warm lift and a soft, chalky finish. The tiny motif sits slightly lighter and brighter than the ground, so the overall effect is textured and quietly decorative rather than high-contrast. With no performance features noted and care code Q 8 + T 3, it feels best suited to considered decorative use where a natural linen look is part of the appeal.

How to use it

Use Seaweed Yellow to brighten a room without shouting, especially alongside painted woods, pale timber and whitewashed finishes. Its soft warmth works beautifully in country-inspired schemes, breakfast rooms and relaxed bedrooms where a light, cheerful ground is wanted.
