Oakham Linen Green

Eloise FabricF3405-01

Oakham Linen Green shows a delicate trailing leaf pattern over a pale linen ground, with the foliage picking out soft sage and olive notes. The overall effect is airy and quietly detailed, rather than bold or high-contrast.

About this fabric

This colourway of Eloise by Colefax and Fowler has a light, creamy base with a vine-like leaf trail worked in muted green, olive and blue-grey tones. The leaves sit in a medium-scale diagonal repeat, and the embroidery-like outline gives the design a gentle raised texture in the image. Made from 68% Linen and 32% Viscose, it has the natural character of linen with a slightly smoother, more controlled finish from the viscose. The fabric is approximately 128cm wide, with a vertical repeat of 38cm and a horizontal repeat of 64cm, which suits the regular climbing rhythm of the pattern. Q 8 + T 3 care and √BM fire code are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it on cushions, upholstered bedroom chairs or relaxed curtains where the soft sage trail can sit against painted timber, oak and muted neutrals. The pale ground keeps the room light, while the green detailing adds just enough pattern to feel tailored.

A fresh sage-toned leaf design that brings quiet pattern to linen-led interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
