Lanark Plaid Sea Green
Erskine Wools FabricF2616-09
Lanark Plaid Sea Green shows a softly brushed wool ground in an understated sea green, crossed with slim russet lines and faint olive checks. The effect is calm and tailored rather than bright, with a gently weathered look that suits traditional interiors.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% wool, this Erskine Wools fabric has the reassuring handle and warmth expected of a classic furnishing cloth, with a repeat of approximately V 11.5cm and H 12cm and a width of approximately 138cm. In this colourway the plaid reads as a muted sea green with an earthy, slightly mossed cast, while the fine intersecting lines add a restrained red-brown note. The surface looks softly napped and compact, giving the checks a blurred softness rather than a crisp, sharp edge. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for interiors where natural wool character is part of the appeal.
How to use it
Use Lanark Plaid Sea Green on a wing chair, banquette or cushions where its cool-green ground can be balanced with oak, leather and brass. It also works well for tailored curtains in rooms that want pattern without high contrast.
A quietly tailored wool plaid that suits classic upholstery or structured curtains.

Pairs well with
Lanark Plaid Sea Green is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
