About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, this Erskine Wools fabric has a substantial, dry handle that suits both upholstery and drapery. The plaid is set on a cool, dusty teal ground, crossed by tomato-red bands that soften at the edges into russet and terracotta tones. Narrow olive and beige pinstripes add structure without sharpening the overall effect, so the check reads more mellow than crisp. With an approximate 152cm width and a repeat of V 28cm / H 25cm, it is an easy scale for chairs, cushions, blinds or room-height curtains where a steady pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use it with aged timber, saddle leather or oatmeal linen to keep the teal-and-tomato balance calm. It also gives well in studies and sitting rooms, where the warm red lines bring life to the cooler ground.
