About this fabric

Part of the Foss Linen II collection by Colefax and Fowler, this fabric is woven in 100% linen with an approximate width of 138cm. The cloth has no repeat, which suits its clean plain appearance and understated texture. In this colourway the red is softened with a coral warmth, so it reads brighter and fresher than a deep burgundy yet more grounded than a pink. The surface shows the characteristic small linen slub and a dry, breathable handle that gives the fabric a relaxed, tailored look. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Foss Bengal Red to add a lively accent to a neutral room, where its warm red tone can lift oak, stone and parchment shades. It would also make a confident blind or loose cover in a scheme with ochre, tobacco or soft white.

Its warm coral-red tone brings lively colour without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
