About this fabric

This colourway has a pale, weathered blue tone that feels cool and restrained rather than bright or nautical. The surface shows a subtle crossweave with gentle horizontal banding, giving the cloth a lightly linened look and a dry, understated finish. At approximately 139cm wide and made in 44% viscose, 32% cotton, 13% linen and 11% polyester, it offers a balanced mix of softness, body and practicality. With a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx, the design presents as an easy plain-texture rather than a patterned fabric, which keeps the focus on the nuanced colour. The overall effect is crisp, calming and versatile, with just enough tonal movement to stop the blue from looking flat.

How to use it

Use it for tailored sofas, bench seats or smart loose covers where the muted blue can sit comfortably with oak, chalk white or deeper navy accents. It would also be elegant on drapery in a pared-back scheme, where the cool tone can soften daylight without dominating the room.
