Kimber Blue

Irving FabricF4678-02

Irving in Kimber Blue shows a small-scale, interlocking geometric pattern with a cool blue-grey character against a creamy ground. The weave gives the surface a lightly textured, upholstered feel with just enough movement to keep the pattern lively.

About this fabric

This colourway combines soft denim-blue blocks with a pale ivory ground, creating a calm, tailored look rather than a bright statement. The 44% viscose, 32% cotton, 13% linen and 11% polyester composition helps explain the fabric’s dry, slightly nubby handle and its clean, woven definition. With an approximate width of 142cm and a repeat of V 41cm / H 18cm, it is suited to pattern-led making where the staggered geometry can be properly matched. The overall effect is fresh and restrained, with the blue sitting more as a muted greyed tone than a saturated primary.

How to use it

Use Kimber Blue on an accent chair, banquette or tailored cushions where its small-scale geometry can be appreciated up close. It pairs especially well with white-painted joinery, pale timber and deeper navy accents for a composed, modern-classic room.

A crisp, quietly graphic blue that layers well with pale oak and chalky neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
