About this fabric

Kimber Umber combines 44% viscose, 32% cotton, 13% linen and 11% polyester, giving the fabric a naturally textured handle with a clean, cloth-like finish. The woven check appears in muted beige and umber tones, with the darker threads creating a subtle rolling effect across the surface. At approximately 142cm wide and with a repeat of V 41cm / H 18cm, it has enough scale for upholstery as well as curtains and soft furnishings. The overall impression is warm, quiet and lightly rustic, with the pattern showing best where the light can pick up its tonal weave. Fire code √BM is noted.

How to use it

Use Kimber Umber on an armchair, cushion or relaxed blind where its small check can add detail without dominating. The warm neutral palette sits easily with oak, plaster pinks, tobacco browns and layered linens.

A restrained neutral that adds texture without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kimber Umber without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
