About this fabric

This Irving fabric by Colefax and Fowler is woven with a 40% viscose, 30% cotton, 24% linen and 6% polyester composition, giving the surface a gently textured handle and a crisp, structured look. The pattern repeats at approximately V 10cm / H 5cm, creating a regular linked motif that reads clearly without feeling bold. In this colourway, the blue is muted and slightly greyed, so the design feels calm rather than bright, with the pale ground keeping the overall effect airy. The width is approximately 138cm, and the fabric is suitable for a range of decorative applications where a smart woven pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use Arran Old Blue on cushions, dining chairs or a small upholstered stool where the cool, softened blue can sit comfortably with chalky neutrals and pale woods. It also works well as curtains in a room that needs pattern but not contrast.
