Hailsham Blue

Hailsham FabricF4876-01

Hailsham Blue shows a gently drawn floral pattern in soft slate blue, sage and dusky lilac on a pale ground. The repeated motif feels airy and ordered, with just enough contrast to keep the design clear.

About this fabric

Hailsham Blue is a fabric from the Hailsham collection by Colefax and Fowler, woven in a blend of 38% Polyester, 32% Linen and 30% Cotton. The cloth is approximately 132cm wide, with a repeat of V 39cm / H 44cm approx and care code Q 8 + T 3, fire code K. In this colourway, the large leaf motifs read as softened slate blue, edged with muted sage, while the smaller floral sprigs add lilac and dusty cornflower accents across a warm pale ground. The overall effect is restrained and classic rather than bright, with the linen-cotton texture helping the print feel gently matte and tailored.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want pattern without heaviness: it suits a smart armchair, cushions, or lined curtains against painted woodwork and pale walls. The cool blue notes work especially well with stone, chalk white and weathered timber finishes.

A calm blue-and-sage print that feels refined on upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hailsham Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
