Kingsley Pale Gold

Hamlin FabricF4730-06

Kingsley Pale Gold reads as a softly weathered gold with a warm, muted glow. The close woven surface gives the colour a dry, textural depth rather than a shiny finish.

About this fabric

Kingsley Pale Gold from the Hamlin collection by Colefax and Fowler is a 142cm approx. wide fabric in a 51% linen, 22% wool, 19% viscose and 8% polyester blend. The cloth has a calm, small-scale woven texture with no repeat, and the surface shows gentle tonal variation that keeps the pale gold colour from feeling flat. In the image, the shade sits between straw, biscuit and soft antique gold, with a slightly heathered effect that softens the overall look. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √CH fire code make it a practical decorative textile as well as a refined one.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want warmth without heaviness: it works well on a tailored sofa, dining chairs or relaxed curtains. Pair it with bleached wood, chalky whites and muted greens to keep the pale gold tone feeling fresh.

A softly luminous neutral that layers easily with oak, linen and deeper earth tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
