About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Jay Check Gold has the dry, natural handle and slightly slubby character associated with linen cloth. The check repeats at approximately 1cm vertically and horizontally, creating a compact, refined grid that reads clearly without overpowering a room. In this colourway, the gold threads are softened by pale neutral crossing lines, so the overall impression is mellow and sunlit rather than bright. At approximately 152cm wide, it is a practical furnishing fabric for schemes that need a small-scale pattern with a relaxed, country-house feel.

How to use it

Use it on a small armchair, bench cushion or Roman blind where the warm gold can lift painted woodwork and timber furniture. It sits especially well with oat, stone and soft green finishes, giving the room a gentle, tailored glow.
