About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen and measuring approx. 139cm wide, Hector Pale Aqua combines a crisp natural handle with a gentle, refined finish. The cloth shows a subtle horizontal repeat of approx. 2cm, creating a restrained striped rhythm that reads more as texture than pattern from a distance. In this colourway the pale aqua tone is cool and washed-out, with a soft blue-green cast that feels clean rather than bright. The fine herringbone-like weave catches the light delicately, giving the surface a slight chalky sheen without losing the relaxed character of linen. It is a versatile fabric for schemes that need a calm, understated colour with a little movement.

How to use it

Use Hector Pale Aqua on pared-back armchairs, pelmets or simple drapes where its cool tint can keep a room feeling crisp and composed. It works especially well with white paintwork, pale oak and other faded blue-greens.

A cool, airy linen that brings a soft freshness to both upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hector Pale Aqua without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
