Charlton Check Espesso

Charlton Check Espesso is a richly layered woven check in warm espresso brown, with muted olive, brick-rust, tan and pale cream bands. The closely arranged blocks create a softly irregular plaid effect, while the varied stripe widths add visible depth across the surface.

About this fabric

The design has a 29.5 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 70 cm horizontal repeat, creating a balanced but non-uniform check at room scale. Its 57% viscose, 30% linen and 13% polyester composition gives the textile a visibly woven, gently textured character. At 140 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The 23,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture, while care is limited to professional dry cleaning: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Pair the espresso-brown ground with walnut timber, aged leather and warm neutral walls, using the olive and rust threads to introduce restrained colour. It works particularly well on a tailored chair, relaxed sofa cushions, full curtains or a coordinated bedspread.
