Charlton Check Aqua/Russet is a woven geometric check in layered aqua, russet, cream and muted taupe. The closely arranged blocks give the surface a softly structured, textile-led appearance rather than a flat printed look.

About this fabric

The fabric combines 57% viscose, 30% linen and 13% polyester in a 140 cm (55") width. Its check is built from narrow lines and larger rectangular blocks, with the 29.5 cm (11.59") vertical repeat crossing a 70 cm (27.5") horizontal repeat. Cool aqua threads bring a gentle blue-green cast, while russet accents add warmth against the creamy ground; muted taupe and grey notes temper the contrast. Rated at 23,000 Martindale, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the aqua as a quiet cool accent on a chair, sofa or headboard, then pick up the russet lines with leather, timber or warm neutral finishes. Its measured check also gives curtains or a bedspread a tailored, softly graphic finish.
