Somerset Check Teal

Somerset Check Teal combines a pale cream ground with cool, muted teal-grey lines and block-like vertical marks. The woven geometric layout reads as a softly structured check, with the light ground keeping the colourway airy.

About this fabric

The design is built from narrow horizontal stripes interrupted by irregular vertical blocks, creating a compact, graphic check across the cloth. Its teal is softened towards blue-grey rather than bright or saturated, giving the pattern cool depth against the warm cream background. At 138 cm wide, the fabric is composed of 37% wool, 18% viscose, 15% acrylic, 14% cotton, 7% polyamide, 6% linen and 3% polyester. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 31 cm vertical repeat and 34.5 cm horizontal repeat.

How to use it

Use the cream-and-muted-teal palette to bring a cool, measured accent to upholstered seating, or let the horizontal striping add gentle structure to curtains and bedspreads. Its softened teal depth pairs naturally with pale neutrals and other quiet woven textures.

A versatile woven check with a pale cream ground and softened teal-grey detailing for upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
