Bohemian Velvet Fig/Sienna combines a deep fig-plum ground with warm sienna and rust, giving the repeating motif a burnished, shadowed character. The velvet surface gently catches the light across its densely patterned design.

About this fabric

The Fig/Sienna colourway layers deep fig-plum and smoky brown with ember-like sienna, while near-black outlines give the repeated geometric and floral motifs definition. Its velvet pile softens the distressed pattern, creating subtle shifts between warm highlights and darker recesses as the surface catches the light. Woven from 60% viscose, 30% cotton and 10% polyester, the fabric is 140 cm (55 in) wide with a 63 cm (24.75 in) vertical repeat and a 35 cm (13.75 in) horizontal repeat. Rated at 50,000 Martindale, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this warm fig-and-sienna velvet on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its dark, burnished colouring can anchor a room. Pair it with aged timber, antique brass and muted rust or tobacco accents to draw out the pattern’s earthy depth.
