Hedgerow Espresso

Mulberry Small Prints FabricFD2014.K74

Hedgerow Espresso has a warm, deep brown ground scattered with tiny cream and taupe scrolling botanical motifs. The close pattern gives the cloth a softly intricate surface without overwhelming its rich espresso tone.

About this fabric

Made from 82% viscose and 18% linen, this 137 cm-wide fabric combines an espresso-brown base with delicate, pale botanical curls and small floral details. Its 37 cm vertical repeat and 39 cm horizontal repeat create a consistently dense pattern across the width. The colour reads warm and muted, with the lighter motifs gently lifting the depth of the brown ground. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Hedgerow Espresso on a reading chair, relaxed loose cover or full-length curtain where its warm brown depth can anchor cream, oatmeal and aged-brass accents. The small-scale motif also works well across a bedspread without creating a heavy visual block.

A warm, finely patterned espresso brown suited to curtains, upholstery and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
