Mulberry Small Prints FabricFD2016.K104

Basketweave Linen is shown here in a softly muted oatmeal beige, with a fine, closely set weave that gives the surface gentle visual texture. Its warm neutral tone reads natural and quietly understated rather than stark.

About this fabric

Made from 100% cotton and supplied at 137 cm (53.82") wide, this Mulberry Home fabric has a small basketweave texture visible across the swatch. The pale beige ground is warmed with subtle taupe-grey variation between the woven intersections, giving the cloth a softly dimensional finish as the light moves across it. Its 12 cm (4.71") vertical and 16 cm (6.29") horizontal pattern repeats keep the texture fine and unobtrusive. The specification allows for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this warm oatmeal colourway to soften a relaxed sitting room, on loose or fixed upholstery with deeper brown, putty or muted sage accents. It also works as calm full-length curtains or a bedspread where the small woven repeat can read as texture without introducing a strong motif.

A softly textured oatmeal basketweave that brings understated warmth to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
