Weekend Linen Olive

Crayford FabricFD698.S112

Weekend Linen Olive has a muted, earthy olive tone with a subtle yellow-brown cast, giving the swatch a quietly natural character. Its closely woven surface shows a fine, even texture that changes gently as the light catches the threads.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen, this 137 cm-wide fabric has a restrained plain weave rather than a printed motif, allowing its layered olive colour and delicate slub-like texture to take focus. The shade sits between moss and khaki, with enough depth to feel grounded without becoming dark or heavy. A 35,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for both loose and fixed upholstery, as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only; it should not be washed and may be cool ironed.

How to use it

Use the softened olive tone on a relaxed armchair, sofa or loose cover, pairing it with warm timber, aged brass and cream textiles. As curtains or a bedspread, its close linen weave will add calm colour and tactile depth without introducing a strong pattern.

A softly textured olive linen that brings an earthy, understated depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
