Titus Cobalt

Palto FabricM4120-05

Titus Cobalt shows a small, all-over abstract pattern in a deep blue ground with a lighter, silvery thread picking out the design. The result is a cool, textured surface with a lively hand-drawn feel.

About this fabric

Woven in a 50% viscose, 27% cotton and 23% polyester blend, Titus has the look of a refined decorative fabric with enough substance for upholstery or drapery use. The colourway is a saturated cobalt blue, softened by charcoal undertones and touched with pale, reflective highlights that make the pattern read clearly from across the room. Its small repeat, measuring approximately V 16cm and H 14cm, gives the surface a dense, rhythmic movement without feeling busy. At 140cm wide, it is practical for both tailored furnishings and lined curtains. The BM fire code and care notation Q 8 < T 3 are supplied for this exact cloth.

How to use it

This cobalt version works especially well against chalky white, soft grey or pale oak, where the blue and silver pattern can hold the centre of attention. It also pairs neatly with darker navy accents for a layered, tailored scheme.

Use with crisp neutrals or warm woods to let the textured cobalt pattern stand out.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Titus Cobalt without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
