About this fabric

This colourway shows a warm terracotta red ground with a pale motif that reads almost ivory against the richer background, creating a clean, graphic contrast. The repeat is approximately V 4cm / H 4cm, giving the pattern a tight, regular rhythm that is easy to read across the width. At approximately 133cm wide and composed of 58% Cotton, 32% Viscose, 8% Acrylic and 2% Polyester, it has the feel of a versatile decorative fabric with enough body for upholstery as well as structured drapery. The small motif and the cotton-rich handle help the shade feel fresh and architectural, while the terracotta tone adds warmth without becoming too bright.

How to use it

Use it to bring colour to a compact armchair, bench or upholstered headboard, where the small repeat will look neat from close range. It also works well on Roman blinds or relaxed curtains if you want a warm terracotta accent with a tailored edge.

A crisp small-scale pattern that brings warmth and structure to seating or tailored curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Palto Terracotta without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
