Orso Saphir is a deep teal-blue cotton with a smooth, plain appearance and a quietly even surface. The colour feels cool, saturated and slightly inky, with subtle tonal shifts where the light falls.

About this fabric

This Orso colourway is made in 100% cotton and comes in an approximate width of 138cm, with no visible repeat (V 0cm / H 0cm approx). The swatch shows a dense, even cloth in a dark saphir teal, sitting between blue and green with a restrained sheen rather than a glossy finish. Its plain surface gives the shade all the attention, and the colour reads deeper and more shadowed at the edges of the swatch. The fabric’s clean, steady look makes it suitable for tailored soft furnishings and seating alike, while the fire code √CM and care code Q 8 < T 3 should be checked against project requirements.

How to use it

Use Orso Saphir to add depth behind pale linens, oak, brass or stone, where its cool teal note can ground a room without feeling flat. It works especially well in schemes that need a darker accent with a refined, modern edge.

A rich teal-blue plain that reads polished and versatile in both upholstery and drapery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
