About this fabric

This colourway pairs a muted taupe ground with a lighter, almost chalky pattern that lifts the surface without creating harsh contrast. The repeat is approximately V 16cm by H 14cm, giving the design a compact, rhythmic movement across the cloth. Woven in 50% viscose, 27% cotton and 23% polyester, it has a balanced handle that should work comfortably for both upholstery and drapery. At approximately 140cm wide, it offers practical coverage for fitted furniture or softer window treatments, while the √BM fire rating is a useful specification for contract and domestic schemes.

How to use it

Use Titus Taupe where you want texture without strong colour: it will calm a scheme of oak, linen and stone. The warm, sandy tone also layers well with deeper browns, olive accents or brushed brass.

A warm taupe ground with a subtle raised pattern suits tailored upholstery or elegant drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
