About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, CLAYTON Taupe 2 is a practical fabric with a 140cm usable width and a 20,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for general domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The cloth has no visible pattern repeat, so the emphasis stays on its mellow taupe tone and the subtle texture catching light across the folds. This shade sits between beige and brown with a muted, slightly warm cast, giving it an easy, grounded feel. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, and its colour fastness of 5 supports everyday use.

How to use it

Use it to soften clean-lined sofas, loose covers or Roman blinds where you want a neutral that still feels warm. Its sandy taupe works especially well with oak, linen white and deeper chocolate accents.

A versatile neutral that brings warmth and an easy tailored finish to both drapes and seating.
