About this fabric

Woven in 54% viscose and 46% polyester, this velvet has a rich hand and a lustrous surface that suits the geometric, wave-like repeat visible in the swatch. The design repeats every 18cm horizontally and 17cm vertically, creating a layered pattern of scalloped arcs and faceted lines across the cloth. Its 138cm usable width and 100,000 Martindale rub test make it a practical choice for demanding interior schemes, and it is rated Severe Contract. Treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, it can be specified for both decorative seating and polished window treatments where a warm taupe tone is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, banquette or headboard where the shifting taupe pile can add texture without harsh contrast. It also works beautifully as drapery in a neutral scheme, softening the room with a subtle metallic-like glow.
